TGIF! This Alice & Olivia Pleated Maxi Skirt is one of my all time faves (last seen here). I am a huge fan of any clothing that has interesting movement (you can probably tell by looking at these posts here, here and here). I love this outfit because it’s just simple and neutral, yet modern and elegant.

I almost wore this outfit (minus the hat) to our friends rehearsal dinner a few weeks ago, but I ran out of space in my suitcase so I decided to pack a dress that didn’t require me bringing more than one pair of heels. My husband was so proud of my smart packing capabilities.

Now I need to figure out what I am wearing tonight to celebrate one of my good friends dirty thirty! It’s been a while since I went out on the town so I am excited for our girls night.
