Sometimes you just need to get away and explore, even if it’s in your own backyard.  A few weekends ago Ben and I decided to hop in our car on a whim one afternoon and started driving up north until we hit the mountains.  We happened to stumble upon the most beautiful view on the edge of a rocky cliff and decided to sit quietly and humbly take in the views and mountain air.  Nothing of our day had been planned and we loved feeling like a couple of adventurers.

I am not gonna lie, I love a good, lazy Sunday like the best of ’em, but instead of consuming yourself with reality television, why not seek out adventures in reality?  It may seem like there is nothing left to explore on this earth, but there is exploring to be done by you.  You can discover for yourself the wonders of the world – through your own eyes (and not the eyes of some director).  So get out there and create your own reality and explore your neighborhood, county, surrounding cities – or, go further – and find an adventure.  I promise you will never regret a day of adventure, but you most certainly will regret those days of shutting off your life and your brain with TV.
