A few weeks ago Ben and I headed down to Palm Springs for a little desert bohemian getaway. Our only vacation requirements were a little relaxation, major pool time and some good food, and the Korakia Pensione was the best place to stay for all of the above. We love this quaint little hideaway so much and it's the perfect place to retreat. We just played cards, read, snacked on cherries by the pool all day and enjoyed each others company. It was perfect.

Sadly I never got around to posting these images since just after we got home we fell into a whirlwind of finding out we were pregnant, then I got hit with basically narcolepsy (so tired when pregnant AND on all those hormones and IVF meds) - and then finding out we lost the babies. But I did want to take a moment to rewind and bring you back to Palm Springs because this vacation was so special and just what the doctor ordered (literally haha).

I packed with me all of my desert bohemian favorites, like this Spell & the Gypsy Collective vintage-inspired lace ensemble. When you're heading to the desert, lightweight fabrics and flowy pieces are a must. It's so hot!
