You guys are frequently asking me about my hair routine so today I wanted to share with you all how I keep my hair color nice and cool blonde and reduce the brassiness between salon visits. This is especially important for me for those times when I can't make it into the salon due to my travel schedule or IVF schedule. Not to mention that salon visits can get pretty expensive, so I like to extend my color for as long as I can.

My hair color is naturally light brown but obviously I prefer to wear it more slightly blonde ombré with a shadowed root to reflect my natural growth. While I try to take as great of care with my hair as possible, continuous coloring (and heat styling) can certainly can dry it out - so I needed to find a violet-hued shampoo and conditioner that will not only help keep my hair from fading, but also leave it soft and shiny. Enter dpHUE Cool Blonde Shampoo + dpHUE Cool Blonde Conditioner.

What I love most about this shampoo and conditioner is that it gives me professional results at home and it lasts me forever because I use it about every fourth wash or so. I also really love that it's free of sulfates making it safe to use on my Brazilian blowout (a necessity).

I also have been trying out this dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse as well as this dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-In Hair Therapy. The Hair Rinse is great to use as a shampoo or conditioner substitute and both cleanse your hair and leaves your hair soft and shiny. I then use the Leave-In Therapy to help detangle before I gently run my brush through and protect it before I apply any heat.
