Wondering what to wear to New York Fashion Week?  Giiiiiirl, I got you covered.  The honest truth: anything you want.  But “when in Rome” why not get a little outside your comfort zone?  

To be honest, I was a bit unsure about whether or not to add the hat to this outfit as I had originally planned (who wants hat hair at fashion week?!)  But it took the outfit to a different place and I loved how the color block hat played off the color block ensemble.

I also loved how this Summer outfit has a Fall feel with the classic houndstooth and wool hat.  

All in all I loved how this outfit looked (and felt in the New York heat).  I can’t wait to bust this outfit out again this Fall with tights.
