Ever since Ben and I found a house here in Arizona (we can’t wait to move in) I have jumped head first into a world of remodel and to be quite honest I had no idea where to even begin looking for stone, flooring, installers, painters, etc…  It has been a fun adventure and I am learning so much, like how there are over 500 billion shades of white paint.  

After doing some research though we have decided to settle on using Benjamin Moore paint.  I firmly believe a good quality paint is a must.  We’re not planning on doing a ton of renovations to our new abode but we believe simple things like new paint throughout and new floors will

 transform our new home and make it feel like new again

.

So I have narrowed down our choices.  Right now I am thinking of using Decorators White for the cabinets and handrails, White Dove (OC-17) for the ceilings, baseboards and walls, and Wickham Gray (HC-171) for our dining room and office.

I also really love Simply White (OC-117), Super White, Chantilly Lace (OC-65), and Oxford White (CC-30) as well as Gray Owl (OC-52) and Revere Pewter (HC-172).

From what I have heard it is best to look at the paint in your own home as paint can change with different light.  So grab a few samples of the ones you like and test them on your walls or on a large piece of foam or paper pinned to your walls.
