I hope you all had a lovely mother’s day.  Sadly I didn’t get to spend it with my mama as she was in Utah with the rest of my family trying to stay warm in a snow drizzle.  

I did however get to spend the day with my sweet sweet husband who woke me up with tulips in bed accompanied by a cute balloon and heartfelt card.  I am so lucky and thankful to be surrounded by such loving family (even if most of them are a state away).  I honestly don’t know what I would do without them; they are my best friends… The apple of my eye.  Which brings me to these pants.  (Ba-dah-dum)… see what I did there?!

Anyway, I came across these funky printed pants at 

anthropologie

 and it was one of those, “I can’t live without these” moment.  I love the stunning mix of colors and the interesting print.  Ever since I started this blog I have gotten more and more daring with my style choices.  It has definitely inspired me to think outside the box.  And although I paired these pants with a whole lot of neutral blush to allow the pants to stand out on their own, I’d love to pair these with a contrasting print with similar colors for a bold look (even if it’s just in the form of a small clutch).
