Happy Monday.  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I spent my weekend frolicking in beautiful Park City, Utah enjoying the sunshine and outdoors.  It was great to be home.  There is something so freeing about being up in the mountains.  Maybe it’s a result of me growing up in them, but they are definitely my happy place.  The place where I can think and ponder life.  Call me “Type A” but I have always been one who likes to re-evaluate every now and again and write down what I want, what my goals are, what I am looking for out of this life… and how to get there.

So what do I want out of life?  

I want to be happy and free.  Free to be me.  Free to be silly.  Free to dance and twirl around and feel the wind in my hair.  To lay in the mountain grass and watch the tree leaves blow freely.  To feel the earth under my toes and know that this life can be whatever I make it to be.  Sometimes we get in the daily routine of things and forget to watch the sun rise.  We forget what makes us happy and, more importantly, why.  Along the way I seemed to have forgotten some of the things I used to love to do.  We need to remind ourselves of what we want and why.  This weekend was a good reminder.

Sorry for my rambling in today’s post.  Sometimes I just have thoughts that I need to get out on paper.
