Happy happy Halloween.  Do you guys have any fun plans?  Ben and I are planning on attending a block party and handing out candy to all the cute kids in our neighborhood.  I am a little bummed we aren’t more prepared and have any plans to dress up – I LOVE Halloween.  It’s an opportunity to let loose, be silly and dress up and play a character… and who doesn’t love that?!  Maybe I will have to have a scary movie marathon to make up for it.

I did put candy out in our cute pumpkin bowl on the front porch for the neighborhood kids and delivery men, but discovered yesterday that a group of coyotes weren’t willing to share.  Half chewed boxes of candy and wrappers were EVERYWHERE on our porch – and even worse, there was pee everywhere like they had marked their territory.  Yikes!  Sorry coyotes but our dog already has this house spoken for.  And yes, I took my dog out there so he could re-mark haha.  I guess I learned my lesson… even though we are in a cute suburban neighborhood, it is the desert and we are on their land.  And they don’t want us to forget it.
