For today’s on-the-go-look I decided to layer up with a winter classic: fair isle.  This look usually features colorful knitted patterns that lend a playful personality to your usual knits… think

.  Whether you’re fresh off the slopes or running errands, it’s a great way to look and feel comfortably chic.

To modernize this traditional knit I opted to pair it with a buffalo checkered puffer and some super soft skinny jeans.  Throw on a pair of pumps and a red lip and this look is ready to take from sipping hot cocoa to sipping cocktails.
