Hi everybody. I hope that you all had a fantastic start to your week yesterday – and for those of you on the East Coast, please stay safe with this crazy snow (hopefully you are all dressed a little warmer than I am here).
I recently did a little Q&A with one of my favorite brands and one of the questions was what was on my bucket list? It got me thinking a lot about what I want to do with my life (not that I haven’t pondered this since birth)… but the number one thing, for me, is travel. Every day I think I struggle with the urge to just throw everything I own into a backpack and wander to the ends of the earth in search of new experiences… to see everything there is to see and hike mountains that I have never hiked. If it weren’t for the fact that Ben has his big boy pants on and has to show up at his place of business daily, I think this dream would have come to fruition a longgggg time ago. But his thirtieth birthday is coming up and it has me dreaming of our next adventure. However, I can’t seem to pin down a destination as there are just too many on our ‘list.’ He recently asked me what I wanted for my birthday (in June) and the only answer I could come up with was to visit somewhere with elephants (India, Nepal, Thailand etc.) Can we finagle two big trips in one year for our birthdays? Probably not. But a girl can dream.
So help me out guys, where should I take my hubby for his birthday? What is your dream vacation or adventure?
