Friday’s make me want to do a total crazy dance… you know the kind: where you find that song that makes you jam out in your bathroom (I am talking “running man” in place) like a total weirdo and then laugh out loud at yourself and think, ‘if only someone saw me do that, they would die.’ Yeah, that’s how I feel right now. Except one time someone did see my do that. My husband totally caught me
mid skier-hop
and I literally fell on the floor and cried I laughed so hard. Ok so anyway, now that we’ve got that out of the way… moving on to the outfit. It’s much more fascinating that my private dance sessions.
So, I wore this look over Christmas while visiting home in Utah but never got the chance to really photograph it. We gave it a good two minute attempt, but it was like -18 degrees (literally) and my lip quiver kept getting in the way. I decided to add tights and a hat to shake things up a bit. I know most of you are living in Winter wonderlands so I try to accommodate even though we are still in the 60’s and 70’s here in AZ. And remember this post? Yeah, these were all taken in 108-degree afternoon heat in early September but I had to wear sweatpants and shoot the looks early for a Refinery 29 Fall feature. It basically just sealed in all the juices and my clothes were just all sopping. And this one? Yes, I was totally freezing. But I didn’t pack a long black coat in my bag and since I think the back of the dress is the best part, I decided to grin and bear it. Oh the things we do for fashion and photos.
What’s the craziest thing you guys have done for fashion or to get a good photo?
