Today I wanted to share with you a message that I love and one that speaks to me.  Rachel Roy recently designed this graphic tank top for Macy’s with one simple message at heart: Life is about living on your own terms, with your own rules.  With 100% of the proceeds being donated to Step Up, a non-profit organization dedicated to pushing empowerment for women and helping them fulfill their potential to become confident, successful career-bound women.

I love this message because I whole-heartedly believe that we should all “rule” the decisions that we make in our lives.  We all may not have control of everything, but we can all control the decisions that we make and the people who we choose to be.  

While it can be easy to get wrapped up into the whirlwind that is our daily lives, I think it is important to live your own life the way you want to live it, in essence taking control of your own destiny.
