Last weekend we took a little trip to California so that we could go to Disneyland with all of my nieces and nephew and it was sooooo much fun. Shockingly, this was actually my first time going to California Adventure. We started our day there and I loved it, especially Arielle’s Under Sea Adventure and the Silly Symphony Swings… and did I mention our stop at Ghiradellis for coffee and ice cream? Highlight of my day haha! But while I loved California Adventure, I still think that I will always be a Disneyland girl at heart.
My favorite at Disneyland is Fantasyland because I have always had a soft spot for fairytales and princesses… but to get my somewhat more grownup feel of D-Land, I absolutely can’t leave without first riding Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain and It’s a Small World.
What are your favorite rides you love to bee-line it to?
Anyways, my family rented a home for the weekend in Anaheim so that we could be close to Disneyland… and I just have to tell you… if you happen to be heading there, you absolutely have to check out the Anaheim Packing District. We weren’t sure where to head for dinner outside of Disneyland and Downtown Disney, so I asked a dear friend and that’s where she recommended. She definitely wasn’t wrong because we loved it – the food was delicious and there is truly something for everyone. They played live music while we ate at the communal tables (while I drooled over Ben’s delicious looking crepe from the Crepe Coop).
