Can you believe it is already August? I feel like this
summer is just blowing by – though my travel
schedule might have something to do with it.
Anyways, with autumn quickly
approaching it is a great time to start stocking up on your cold weather
basics… Which is why if you haven’t taken advantage of Nordstrom’s AnniversarySale yet, you need to get on it!
Start pulling out those cold weather clothes and see what
you need to stalk up on. Whether you’re in need of new boots or some cozy
sweaters, I’ve put together some of what I think is necessary for the upcoming

jeans this fall. But for now, pair them with a summer dress as a great way to
keep wearing your favorite look into the coming months. Another great
transition piece is this Topshop coat. Wear it over a short dress with heels in the summer and give it new life over pants and boots in the fall. And don’t forget – accessories can
bring any outfit into a new season: so look for plaid scarves and a cool hat to rejuvenate your closet!
