This weekend Ben and I decided to take a drive up north to get a little extra taste of fall in the mountains.  One of my absolute favorite things to do is explore, from new coffee shops to hillsides and everything in between.  We took the pups with us this time because we couldn’t let them miss out on all the fun.  They had a blast exploring through the woods with us but once we reached the edge of the rim they definitely were a little nervous haha so we kept them at a safe distance from the ledge.

It gets a lot colder up there so I brought along this super cute faux fur trimmed hooded coat from Modcloth – and it definitely helped to keep me nice and toasty.  I just love the fun southwestern print on this coat – it goes perfectly here in Arizona!  It also comes in this festive buffalo checkered print plaid, which would be perfect to stand out in the snow this winter!
