Ok so I must admit, the desert is such a beautiful place. With its unique cacti and the way the sun bounces off the warm sand, it makes for some beautiful photos. I was a little nervous I would step on a rattle snake though haha. Snakes are one of my biggest fears. But Ben and I had fun shooting in the desert, even if we were totally soaked with sweat afterwards haha. Literally. It was like impossible to keep the sweat off my upper lip. After this, Ben and I immediately went home and took turns shoving ourselves in the freezer (literally haha).

It can be easy to look at photos and just assume that it was easy, but in fact, lately it's been anything but haha. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this photo recently. The photos turned out really pretty, but you may notice my hair is soaking wet. Yup, I totally ate shit and fell in the stream. And man oh man, it hurt! But as I was making my way back across the stream, Ben was like, 'hang on' haha.

Usually I am a perfectionist, especially when it comes to our photos. I like to keep my hair in place and the sweat off my lip. But lately, I have just been saying, 'who cares,' and just having more fun with it. Sometimes you just have to let loose and shake off your worries and insecurities. And in the end, you'll start to have more fun. Anyway, that's what I have been working on lately... just going with the flow.
