As you guys know, I have been out of town traveling for the last two months - from Kauai to Montana to Europe and then on to Tucson, things have been a bit busy, to say the least. But this past weekend, I finally got the chance to slow down a bit and relax.

Now that I am back in Arizona, I was really looking forward to the opportunity to visit some of my favorite spots, which includes this local and incredibly darling tea and cake house, Teaspressa, opened by my friend Allison. She offers a unique and modern approach to tea, making it like coffee - and you guys, it's sooooo delicious. You can order off the "secret menu" like I have with this black rose latte (black tea latte with rose petals) or off their regular menu, which has plenty to choose from. And if you can't tell, her shop is absolutely darling!

So Ben and I thought we might take our Sunday morning to stop in and say hi, grab a tea and enjoy a good book. Lately I have been reading The Wangs Vs. The World by Jade Chang. It's about a Chinese immigrant family who falls from glorious riches to, what they consider to be rags. But this brings them together in a way that money never could. It's funny, warm-hearted and a tale about a family, which is what I love most about it.
