How I dress for winter
First things first: my toes. My toes are ALWAYS cold, so I like to wear a pair of cute wool socks (that coordinate with my outfit) and have them peek out of my boots. And speaking of boots, these weather resistant hiking boots are my favorite. They're a little heavy (so when traveling, I wear them on the plane so I don't have to pack them), but I love how chic yet practical they are.
If I am really cold, I will sometimes wear thin leggings underneath my denim, but for the most part, a pair of jeans usually does the trick.
For shirts, I love to layer. Not only will this keep you warmer, but it's a cute styling trick too. My classic go-to's are usually a plaid button-down underneath my favorite sweater. In this case, stripes.
For outerwear, I always go with fashionable, yet functional. I look warm coats that have a belt or that are cinched at the waist, to give my shape some definition under all that pouf. And you can never go wrong with a classic black hooded coat. It will go with everything.
How do you guys dress for the winter weather?
