This past weekend Ben and I headed north to experience some cooler weather in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. We had so much fun but it certainly was a lot colder than we are used to... hail, wind, snow, rain... you name it, we got it.
While staying at beautiful Pine Canyon, we definitely packed our cold-weather wear to keep warm, like this cute fluffy coat, and drank lots of water to stay hydrated in the higher elevations... but man that dry, winter weather and whipping wind can definitely take its toll on your skin.
To keep my lips healthy I brought along my new vanilla orchid EOS Crystal Lip Balm (available at Target). It has five nourishing oils and is wax-free, vegan, weightless and ultra-hydrating. It's easy to toss in your bag and is extra lightweight for your vacation.
It was my first time using this product, but I really liked how lightweight it was. I am a major lip balm lover and seriously don't travel or go to bed (or even to the gym) without it, so it was nice having the hydration handy.
As I mentioned here, I have also been taking a closer look at not only what I put in my body for Luna, but what I put on the outside as well. I honestly love that the EOS Crystal Lip Balm boasts a range of natural ingredients, such as jojoba oil, coconut oil and shea butter to help leave your skin soft. Those are some of my favorite hydrating ingredients (I mix jojoba oil at home with everything and coconut oil is my skin savior)!
Just what my lips needed this winter.
