Have you guys ever re-visited your old college town? I feel like an incredibly old person every time I head to Tempe (where I lived when I went to ASU) so I  haven't found many excuses to visit to be honest. But Ben and I were invited to stay at the Graduate Tempe recently in collaboration with Tempe Tourism and I was excited to check out my old stomping grounds with my hubs and show him and Luna around. But Tempe has seriously changed so much and even more cool places have popped up, even since I moved back to Arizona five years ago.

Like I mentioned, we stayed at the Graduate Tempe, which is such a cool boutique hotel. It's playful and quirky and definitely not your average cookie-cutter chain. An alternative to conventional hotels, the Graduate Tempe is driven by thoughtful design centered around the southwestern desert and was basically an Instagrammer's paradise. Lucky me haha.

After checking in on Friday night, we strolled down to nearby iconic Mill Avenue for dinner, a compact street filled with fun shops, great bars and plenty of restaurants to enjoy an early dinner before picking up my parents to say hi while they had a short layover (the airport it so conveniently close to Tempe).

The next morning we woke up early to grab some coffee at our favorite: Cartel. It's a local roaster that makes the best coffee and their Tempe location is honestly my favorite.

We then headed off to breakfast at Snooze, a yummy A.M. eatery, which is just a stones throw from Mill Ave, the heart of Tempe. That's one thing I love about Tempe... there are so many good spots and they are all so close to one another.

Following breakfast we wanted to do something fun for Luna and I found out that Tempe has it's own SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium at Arizona Mills (something I had never had a reason to visit before) but we had so much fun. Luna loved looking at all the fishies and laughing with Daddy.
