Last Mother's Day I had the most amazing time at the cutest painting party hosted by the über talented local artist Erika Lenaye. I actually have one of her beautiful printed pieces hanging in Luna's bedroom and I just adore it. She uses the most incredible soft, neutral pretty colors and I just love her desert bohemian style.
It inspired me so much that I decided I wanted to host a little painting party of my own with my girlfriends at home. While I am no artist and can't tell my gals what to paint like Erika can, I figured it would be fun to do a little free for all painting party and just go with whatever you're feeling that night. That's usually how I like to paint anyway. But of course, what's a party without a little wine to get the creative juices flowing haha?!
I took inspiration from Erika and her beautiful set up, and ordered some items off Amazon to make it cute (linked above and below).
You can find a cheap little pack of 10 canvases online for your gal pals and spread about the paint brushes. Acrylic paint isn't too expensive, just order the colors that would go in your homes (neutrals are usually best (blacks, tans, browns, whites, grey, and of course, some pinks).
If you decide to host a painting party at home of your own, be sure to tag me on Instagram (@caitlinclairexo)! I would love to see how they turn out!
