This fur vest is one of my favorites. It is such a staple piece for me this season… you can pair it with almost anything. Faux fur looks upscale yet totally accessible. Make any fall outfit fashion forward by throwing it on with jeans for extra polish or over a dress to make your outfit look a little more luxe. Plus if gives you a little bit of extra warmth!
Faux Fur Tips For Finding and Styling One That Works For You:
– A fur vest makes a statement all on its own. You should keep the rest of your outfit simple. Try pairing it with skinny jeans, or pop it on over a dress with some ankle booties to keep the look edgy. And I love it when the sleeves of your top peek through.
– Be sure to choose a style that has good quality faux fur. The softer the better. I prefer fur that has a few tones in the same color family within it (like the one above).
– Personally I prefer styles that are not too bulky. At 5’11” with big boobs, I do not want to add too much to my frame on top. If you opt for a bulkier style, pair it with a pair of leggings or skinny jeans to balance it out.
– Be sure to choose the right length for our body. The long faux fur styles would look great on taller frames, but may drown someone shorter. If you are on the shorter side, opt for a style that hits at the waist or above.
