I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I got some christmas shopping done and decked our halls with holiday cheer while letting Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby sing me to a mashmellow wonderland. I love that magical feeling. Even though it still feels like a bagillion degrees out for what should be considered Fall, I still try to dress for the holidays
by throwing in a pop of christmas through a

Speaking of the holidays, this french braid updo would be perfect for any of those upcoming holiday shindigs and is super easy to do. I teamed up with my friend and braid mastermind, Jenny, to show you guys how to recreate this look on your own. You can check out the video tutorial below (but just ignore my super awkward excessive blinking and hair extensions)! There is a reason I run for the hills from film… I am, clearly, 100% awkward. Put me in front of our camera and I can muster up my confidence to strut my stuff… but put me on film and I go straight to Urkelville. I know it’s technically not hard to just sit there… but suddenly it’s like, where do my hands go? Where am I supposed to look? Isn’t it funny how our senses are totally heightened once the camera is on – I was like super aware of every appendage… and super confused on where to put them. If you guys have any tips on how to overcome camera shyness, you’ll have to teach me your super savvy ways in the comments below!
