There comes a time when you just need to rock a Canadian tuxedo. A great way to break up the full-on jean ensemble is by adding a jacket or, in this case, a vest. Instead of adding a pop of color I kept the pallet neutral by pairing it with similarly muted tones and opted to add texture instead.

I recently bought these JBrand boyfriend jeans and I couldn’t wait to wear them – they are the perfect color and fit. I have been on the hunt for the right pair of boy-jeans forever. I wanted to avoid the saggy butt issue and minimize bulk. This pair is slim on top and flatters, not flattens, your shape.

And please forgive the lack of facial close-ups. My husband and I went to brunch after spending all morning in bed and I was not in a makeup kind of mood.
