Today’s post is all about festival fashion. If you’re anything like me and peruse your social media on occasion then you may have noticed a few of your favorite friends, bloggers and celebrities dressed in their best boho-wear somewhere out in the middle of California. To me, a festival screams free spirited and when I think of dancing in the desert I immediately think lightweight, easy and comfortable indie faves (we certainly wouldn’t want to overheat or have to bus it back to the hotel as a result of choosing uncomfortable duds now would we?!)
Even if you’re not heading to the desert you can still incorporate festival fashion into your every day wear. For running errands I chose to go with a breezy dress and bohemian braids topped with Old Navy’s sleeveless button-front blouse. I love this chic blouse because it gives the outfit an extra something and the soft, lightweight fabric matches the ease of the ensemble. It also tends to get chilly in the desert at night so the extra layer serves as an easy added bonus.
What are some of your favorite key items to create a festival look?
