I am so excited to announce that I am partnering with The Luxury Collection Hotels and One Kings Lane
to travel to Hawaii tomorrow
for a week of tanning, surfing, shopping, eating, cocktailing, and fun in the sun. Does it get any better than that? No way, no how! The last time I was in Hawaii was when Ben and I got engaged (you can read that story here), so the islands have a special meaning to me.
Anyway, we’re heading to the iconic and luxurious Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki to put together The Perfect Day with help from their lovely concierge. If you have visited Oahu before you may recognize this perfectly pink beachfront palace. This landmark resort first opened in 1927 and offers an indigenous experience filled with Hawaiian history and charm. I can’t wait to get there and take it all in in-person. If any of you have been there (or haven’t and are dreaming of visiting) I would love to hear what your “perfect day” would look like in Waikiki.
I will be hanging out with Andrea Stanford of One Kings Lane (the woman responsible for curating many of those amazing vintage sales) and the talented Brooklyn photographer Nicole Franzen. We will be exploring the island and all it has to offer in order to bring you fun and unique activities that make up The Perfect Day.
When I was first contacted about joining in on this amazing experience, my first thought was, “um, this is amazing,” and next came what any fashion-obsessed gal would think, “holy crap, what am I going to wear?!” I have been rummaging through my closet and searching high and low for my favorite vacation wear and thought I would share with you all some of what I will be packing. I went with a pink theme to match the hotel, because, why not?!
