Happy Sunday Darlings! I wanted to make sure to remind you
all that St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Time to break out the
green attire, and get ready for the festive celebrations.

Although I am not
Irish, I like to celebrate anyway – and I love to take advantage of any excuse to celebrate
and wear a cute and festive outfit (am I right?).

In elementary school, St. Patty’s was always one of my favorites.  My third grade teacher, Mrs. Massey, had the whole class set up Leprechaun traps the day
before using those green baskets strawberries used to come in.  We were all so excited at the thought of getting to catch one (and steal his pot of gold).  But what’s a trap without a little bait?  We
placed a few pieces of little green candy underneath – oh the trickery.  T

he next day the scene had been
set.  The candy had been nibbled, some of the traps had been set off, and there
were these tiny green glittered footprints all over our desks, chairs and throughout the entire room.  Looking back, I think the magic of experiences like these as a kid created in me a flair (and nostalgia) for the holidays.

As we grow up, sometimes we lose sight of some of the simple joys. So let’s bring
that magic back!  Get out there, order your green gear, find a local parade, do the Irish jig and enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day festivities!

Don’t forget to shop now so you don’t get pinched next week!
