Today I wanted to share with you guys a few snippets from my trip back home to Park City over the holidays.  Ben and I really enjoyed being with family – it was certainly much needed and so great to be with everyone for Christmas and ring in the New Year with all those we love.

Whenever I visit back home there are always a few things on my must-do list – from skiing at Deer Valley to catching up with old friends and eating out at my favorite local spots.  While I didn’t catch everything on camera, I thought I might share with you two fun things we did this trip (and happened to snap pics of): ice skating at Park City Mountain and s’mores at the Montage.

Ok so first, note that I haven’t ice skated in years.  Like, 20 years.  Holy cow, that makes me sound sooooo old!  But we had so much fun and I especially loved playing around with my nieces on the ice.  I brought gummy bears for “crash and burn pills” to make them all better in case they fell – so they loved to pretend to fall haha.

And as for s’mores, the Montage does s’mores out on their patio every day from 4:30 to 5:30pm and it’s so fun.  Be sure to dress cozy because it can get cold, but the hot fire helps to keep you warm.  If you miss the Montage’s, you can always head up to the St. Regis for their s’mores from 7 to 9pm.

Anyway, if you haven’t visited Park City, I of course highly recommend.  But I might be a little biased.
