While in Park City, Utah over the Fourth of July weekend I pretty much traded in my usual wardrobe for summer stripes, and I fell in love with this button front stripe midi dress from Reformation. It's sweetheart neckline is super feminine and the tie waist gives your silhouette an uber flattering shape. Not to mention, stripes never go out of style. The color I am wearing is already sold out unfortunately, but I have also linked to a bunch of my favorite stripe dresses in the widget above and below.

On a more personal note, I apologize for my sporadic posting lately. Since the start of this blog I have always worked hard to be able to maintain a steady schedule of posting five days a week to help you all know when to expect a new post. But since the loss of our first set of twins back in December I have had a really hard time keeping a schedule, or rather, quite frankly, finding the motivation to keep a schedule. After we lost them I felt like I lost a little bit of myself, and it's more elevated now that we have lost our second set of twins. But I want you all to know that I am really trying my hardest to get back into the swing of things and getting my shit together. I need to pick the pieces back up off the floor, put myself together again and shake it off. Unfortunately, these things happen. And whether we're ready or not, life moves on. So, I am trying to as well. I know, it's so much easier said than done. But over the weekend Ben and I had the privilege of attending the Rascal Flatts concert thanks to Lexus (who sent us their in their sexy RC 200t sporty coupe). We had such an amazing time. But more importantly, Rascal played their 'Stand' song and it reminded me that I need to get back up and stand. While we listened under the stars and tears streamed down my face, it helped to renew my resolve and remind me of the fight I know I have within me. If you're unfamiliar with the song, or you yourself need a little reminder to shake your troubles off... here they are.

'You feel like a candle in a hurricane.
Just like a picture with a broken frame.
Alone and helpless, like you've lost your fight.
But you'll be all right. You'll be all right.
'Cause when push comes to shove,
you taste what you're made of.
You might bend 'til you break,
'Cause it's all you can take.
On your knees you look up,
decide you've had enough.
You get mad, you get strong.
Wipe your hands, shake it off.
Then you stand.'

It's time to stand.
