A few of you have come to town and have messaged me for a more neighborhood-specific travel guide to Phoenix, so I have partnered with Fossil to highlight one of my favorite neighborhoods, Arcadia. It's a little gem on the Phoenix / Scottsdale border that was once a former citrus grove and serves as the hub of some of Arizona's most popular restaurants, boutiques and more!
The Henry is one of our breakfast go-to's in Arcadia! It's a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal outside in the sunshine or inside their cute industrial-meets-classic space. I recommend trying their quinoa breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros or their carrot cake pancakes if you're looking for something a bit more sweet.
Luci's at the Orchard
One of the first stops you can't miss is one our of absolute favorites: Luci's at the Orchard. Not technically in "Arcadia," but I could't resist including it. Their blueberry pancakes are my favorite and I die for their vanilla lattes. Ok, maybe not "die," haha... but they are really tasty! You also can't beat their ambiance. Once a citrus nursery, I love coming here in the spring with my computer to work remotely underneath the shade of the trees.
For a quick gift
Camelback Flowershop is my go-to for all things floral, plant and gift related in Arcadia. From their gorgeous floral arrangements to elegant fiddle-leaf figs and playful succulents, it’s a plant-lovers paradise. Last time I visited, I even purchased a couple of their crystals to keep alongside my collection of cacti. On Friday's they offer half off their gorgeous vase floral arrangements from 4pm - 6pm, so Ben often likes to stop in here and bring me home a pretty surprise.
If you want to feel like you’ve stepped off a side street in Italy and into your neighborhood restaurant (or basically, if you just like good food), then North Italia is for you. I go crazy for their flatbreads and chicken parmesan and, of course, their yummy cocktails. Their Sicilian Margarita tastes so dang fresh! It’s a great spot to gather with friends. They have several locations throughout the valley, but their location in Arcadia is one of my favorites.
Flower Child is one of my favorites when I am wanting something a bit quicker but still healthy and delicious. So basically, every day haha. It's an order at the counter and then find a seat at one of their cute tables kind of place. Their 'Flying Avocado' whole grain wrap is my go-to, but we also love to share their 'Thai Cashew Quinoa.' And you can't beat their homemade lemonade (I love lemonade, especially in the warmer months... which is like, all the time here in Arizona haha).
For The Home
One of my favorite home goods stores I can’t resist stopping into is UrbAna. I am a bit of a collector of all things décor and love dressing my table up with their accessories and entertaining-ware. Every time I leave with a plethora of new items that look perfect on my bar cart next to my cute succulents. It happens to be owned by a friend of mine and she is so absolutely darling, so be sure to let her know I sent you!
