The other day Ben took me out for a pre-Valentine's Day date and I decided to play it a little more casual this time. Don't get me wrong, I love a good classic red or pink dress... but one can only own so many. It's fun to change it up a bit... and who the hell really wants to wear heels?!

I am obsessed with this top (it comes in black too, if that's more your thing). I paired it with my favorite light wash denim (that I pretty much wear daily) and my go-to studded boots.

If you want to spice it up, add a silk leopard headband like I did.

I wore this casual Valentine's Day date outfit to The Henry, one of our favorite local restaurants. Right now it's about a 45 minute drive from our house, but when we move it will be more like ten minutes! Woot woot! Bring on the short rib (my favorite dish).

Ben decided to take me out a little early to celebrate Valentine's Day one, to beat the crowds, and two, to avoid price hikes and three, because we plan on celebrating actual Valentine's Day at home this year with Luna.

We'll probably go out again on Friday (the day after) because Friday's are our typical date nights anyway.
