At 19 weeks pregnant we headed to my hometown of Park City, Utah to spend the summer (and escape the Arizona heat). It's like summer camp here, it's so beautiful. We do this every year and, although it sucks to leave Ben back in Arizona, he flies in on the weekends to join us.
I am not going to lie, single-parenting it all summer is hard work, especially when you're pregnant, exhausted, and chasing a crazy toddler. But it's so nice to be near family, play in the sun, actually enjoy the pool and catch up with old friends when we can.
When I come home, I like to play tourist and visit places I didn't really while growing up here, like 'the white barn' (as we locals call it haha). It's a cute little spot and Luna enjoys running around on the grass, picking dandelions and walking along the paved path.
I think the worst of my symptoms this go-around at 19 weeks pregnant is just exhaustion. I don't remember being this tired when I was in my second trimester with Luna. But then again, I didn't have a toddler that controlled my life and schedule haha.
I usually nap when she naps, especially on days when I work out in the mornings. I have been working out consistently 4 days a week this pregnancy at Orange Theory Fitness (any more than that and my pelvic ligaments are dead haha). I take the 6am class and, while the 5:30am wake up calls are rough, it's the only way I can get in a workout (before Luna is awake and while my Dad is still home (we're staying at my parents in Deer Valley)).
Anyway, hope you guys have been enjoying your summer so far!
