TIGF! I thought I would finish out this weeks outfits with a little prep in my step. You can’t go wrong with a classic blazer – and I am especially loving this warm camel color. It’s perfectly fitted and feminine but I love the clean lines and long length. I love pairing a blazer over a simple blouse or tee to dress up your denim. I opted for some oxfords to keep the look more relaxed, comfortable and casual… perfect for the weekend.

Anyway, today I thought it might be fun to share some things you might not know about me. So here we go…

1. Christmas jammies make me deliriously happy. I love frolicking around like Santa’s little elf – except I totally wear them year-round. I just bought these Plaid PJ’s (thank goodness for the “tall’s”) + I am wearing these red/navy ones with the matching top as we speak (and hello, the whole set is only $30, making it the perfect holiday gift for your sister or mom).

2. I am a really picky eater, which is surprising because if you asked my mom when I was growing up I was her “best eater.” And if anyone asked me when I was in kindergarden what my favorite food was, without question I proclaimed it was “broccoli.” Now, however, my diet tends to consist of the same four major food groups… eggs, acai bowls, chicken and s’mores. This gal is a creature of habit…

3. One of my biggest fears is fish. Those slimy, silly, creepy-eyed creatures give me the heebie-jeebeis. I like to waterski, wakeboard, snorkel etc… but if any of the slippery little suckers comes near me I will literally start hyperventilating (true story). I think it stems from an episode in Mexico involving some little black fish nibbling on my toes at the impressionable age of four. Or maybe it’s my Mom’s fault for forcing me to sit at the table for ages until the smelly salmon she had slaved over was in my belly (it went in the dogs or in my pockets… making for some really awesome smelling laundry). Shhh don’t tell her. Nevermind, she reads this. So on that note, thanks for your support Mama, but I’m scarred for life on that salmon.
