Happy Wednesday.  Sorry for not updating my site yesterday… I got a bad sore throat on Friday before I left for San Fran and then spending the whole weekend walking around the city in the rain only made it worse and I completely lost my voice.  I sound like a squeaking little mouse every time I try to breathe a word.  And don’t get me started on the sleeping… I think I slept over 16 hours yesterday.  But I am hoping I will be on the mend soon as I need to get out there and shoot.  Like I mentioned in this post, we usually shoot on the weekends and since I was gone and was too busy exploring SF, I didn’t get any photos in over this past weekend.  Which means I better shape up and wake up early to get some looks in for the week.

Anyway, while in SF over the weekend we ended up doing a whole lot of shopping to avoid the rain… and one thing I noticed was that I kept gravitating towards black and white pieces (and this yellow dress).  So today I wanted to share with you some of my current black and white favorites.

I posted here about this vest – and I wasn’t lying… it will definitely be a wardrobe regular.  I also recently bought these heart print pants and I can’t wait to style them – they’d be perfect with just a white silk blouse (and this one is on sale).  Another favorite? This stripe t-shirt dress is two thumbs up… throw on some sneakers with a denim jacket and you’re set for the day!  Basically you can’t go wrong with classic black and white.  Throw on a sexy red lip for a bit of color if you feel so inclined… it is February after all.
