Ok so clearly I have a thing for hearts.  I swear that this wasn’t planned at all haha, but I recently wore heart pants and a heart dress on the blog too.  I didn’t even realize I had purchased so many heart printed items (or even photographed so many) until I started going through the images.  Oh well, when you find a good thing you just roll with it.

Anyway, if you were following along on my Instagram recently, you may have noticed I surprised my hubs for his 30th birthday by whisking him away to Canada (I tricked him into thinking we were driving to San Diego).  We don’t get much of a Winter here in Arizona so I thought he would enjoy getting a little taste of the mountains and snow to remind us of home (Utah), while exploring a new place together.  So I picked him up from work early last Thursday, drove to the airport and handed him his passport.  It was so fun planning the surprise and enjoying our weekend in the beautiful snowy mountains.  We got some great pics of our travels and I can’t wait to share them with you… so stay tuned!

And PS, just ignore my terrible lipstick job.  I put this red lip stain on in the car and messed up so I attempted to wipe it off with my hands and ended up literally getting it all over my face.  I forgot to bring my universal lip liner (which is seriously a life saver)!  I don’t have a very steady hand so it helps me stay in the lines… so definitely check it out if you’re as clumsy as me.
