Now that we have our baby girl, we were so excited to celebrate the holidays this year by visiting the best spots in Arizona and doing some fun family activities together. First stop was the iconic McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale. It's such a cute little park that they decorate super cute for Christmas with lots of lights. They have a train and a carousel that kids just love.
Even though Luna is only a few weeks old she seriously loved looking around at all of the lights and listening to the children play. I was worried that the carousel ride might make her sick but she had so much fun - her eyes got super wide and she was just staring in awe.
There is no admission fee to the railroad park itself, but you can get tickets for the carousel and train in the Stillman Station (and they're only $2 each so it's a really fun and affordable holiday family activity)! You can visit the General Store for ice cream, an iced coffee or hot dog.
Anyway, a visit to the railroad park with your family is so worth it. Such a cute place for kids to play. We can't wait for Luna to get older (but not too quickly) so we can bring her back and watch her run around and explore.
