Sometimes you happen to come across the perfect dress in the perfect color… and this was definitely one of those occasions. The stunning coral shade brings out my Summer tan (woohoo) and I love the flattering silhouette of this cinched-waist maxi. It’s perfect to wear to a Summer wedding… and I did just that.

One of my best friends from law school got married at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, so Ben and I decided to relive our first anniversary at the neighboring St. Regis Monarch Beach (where Ben snuck me off to to celebrate our first year of marriage while we were still living in San Diego). The property obviously has sentimental value to us for this reason, but with so much beauty at this hotel, how could we not stay there? One of my favorite aspects is the beautiful grand staircase that leads down to an open area of grass, and further down, the pool which overlooks the ocean.
