Wait, how is summer officially over?! Like, where did it go? Insert sad face. I feel like it flew by. Whatever happened to the days when you were a kid and summer legit felt like 800 years long?
Luna and I went home to Park City for the month of July and when we got back to Arizona we were like, 'what the heck are we doing here?' So we decided to turn around and go right back for another two-and-a-half weeks. And we had a blast.
I love taking advantage of our time in Utah by doing things we can't do in Arizona during the summer months: basically, be outside lol. We went for lots of hikes and picnics and spent lots of time at the pool.
One of my favorite days was when we visited Brighton. It's just a short, beautiful drive over Guardsman Pass from Park City and well worth it. Bring your hiking shoes because there are so many awesome trails in Brighton to gorgeous lakes (Mary, Catherine, Martha and Dog Lake). Or you can just wander along the wooden pathway at the base and have a picnic. It's just nice to be out in the mountains.
What did you guys do this summer?
